Hyperventilation syndrome is significantly more frequent than most people realise, and it goes unnoticed most of the time. It frequently causes deceptive symptoms such as altered awareness, unexplainable sensory and motor feelings, and it is frequently concealed by accompanying physical symptoms. Further complicating detection, symptoms linked to panic disorder are frequently those of hyperventilation. The proper diagnosis of this breathing illness requires a greater awareness of its varied forms, which can then lead to more effective diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
