This paper describes a new 10 MN reference force system that will be used to update the existing build-up force standard equipment at the Jilin Institute of Metrology. The history of the machine, the concept of modernization, and the new reference force system's function were all explained. The long-term stability of this new reference force system was evaluated utilising a considerable amount of test data and findings, and the calibration of this new reference force system was accomplished numerous times at NIM. Meanwhile, two transducer outputs were evaluated for homogeneity. There is also a discussion of the differences between ISO standards and Chinese calibration guidelines.
