Study on Assessment and Monitoring of Microbial Pollution in Certain Drinking and Bathing Water Ponds in and Around Sivagangai, India | Chapter 2 | Recent Progress in Microbiology and Biotechnology Vol. 7

 Water samples are usually microbiologically examined to confirm that they are safe to consume and bathe in. The water could be home to a wide range of pathogens. It is critical to safeguard and conserve surface and ground water against microbial contamination at this time. Treatment and control are only part of the solution to microbiological pollution; effective monitoring of drinking and bathing water resources is also required. In order to provide humanity with drinkable and safe drinking and bathing water, research methodologies are critical.
