Freudenberger (1974) and Maslach (1976) were the first to detail Burnout Syndrome (BOS). It is defined as a state of insane exhaustion and depression working accompanied by fatigue and curtailed ability to deal with cognitive and impassioned needs and mental distancing. Healthcare experts are most commonly troubled by BOS as they spend more hours handling the pain and problems of patients. Physiotherapy is a declaration that needs long-term interplay with the sufferers as they also should deal with patients’ intellectual issues like depression and attitude. Thus, physiotherapists as health care providers are obviously exposed to strain because of close interplay with morbid people the one require healing attention for a longer event. Many studies have proved the exposure of physiotherapists to Burnout Syndrome. But there is less devote effort to something the prevention and management contracts. Hence, this article supplies a brief overview of BOS in physiotherapists and habits to manage BOS.
