In current years, there have happened a lot of new realizations in the field of atherosclerosis treatment, and marks and delivery designs are two vital aspects. This unit describes important healing targets in atherosclerosis and designs for transporting therapeutic powers to plaques. According to a series of experimental studies and clinical practice, focusing on the main pathways of memorial buildup and rupture contribute to restrain plaque establishment or eliminate existing memorial, ultimately reducing the incident of fatal complexities, like heart attacks and strokes. In this part, on the one side, key aim in atherogenic process covering oxidative stress, flawed endothelium, diseased lipid uptake, container apoptosis, thrombotic and pro-inflammatory answering and switched SMCs are popularized detailly.
