What is even more influential is the fact that about half of the global motherly deaths on account of anaemia occur in South Asian nations; India contributes to about 80 per insignificant value of the maternal fatality due to anaemia in South Asia.Therefore this study was attended to study prevalence and associated mathematical factors stylish.This prospective study was attended on all anaemic antenatal cases irrespective of gestational age accompanying the hospital Upper India Sugar Exchange Maternity Hospital, GSVM healing college Kanpur all the while period Jan 2013 to August 2014.During this ending all antenatal patients (4300) who showed up outdoor and household were included in the study. Prevalence of anaemia with them and allure associated sociodemographic determinants were studied.The study erect the prevalence of anaemia in pregnant women during our study ending was 92% of which moderate were 70%,gentle 20%,severe 7% & harsh  were 3% using WHO tests as degree of anaemia. Anaemia was more widespread in early age group because of early marriages & in late exclusive informal network because of diversified births.Although there are various national digestive anaemia prevention programmes in India, anaemia still poses a weighty threat to parent and foetus during pregnancy by increasing the risk of motherly and perinatal death and depression.
