Study about Nasal Antrostomy for the Treatment of an Infected Maxillary Periapical (Radicular) Cyst | Chapter 12 | Current Progress in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 5

 This case report presents a favorable surgical man- agement of big infected radicular cyst. Radicular cysts are ultimate common cysts of the jaws, accompanying occurrence of 7 to 54% of all the cysts in permanent plural of tooth, whereas radicular cysts of temporary dentition are extremely precious due to the normal course of milk tooth exfoliation. A 44-period-old male patient stated to private clinic, with a chief illness of slowly advance swelling on the left side of the face of 4 to 5 age duration. Most of the opportunities, radicular cysts resemble the preexisting never-ending peri- sharp periodontitis lesions radiographically. The surgical enucleation of the cyst was completed activity under general sleep and strict asepsis through an intraoral approach.  The extent of the wound, nearby anatomical makeups, evolution, origin, dispassionate characteristics of the injury, cooperation, and systemic fitness of the patient may all influence the situation option.
