In the present study, perinatal outcomes in intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) pregnancies in the second and third trimesters were predicted using uterine artery blood velocity waveforms, Systolic/Diastolic ratio (S/D), Pulsatility Index (PI), and Resistance Index (RI). In the research group, 50 instances of IUGR were looked at in the second and third trimesters. The initial procedure was uterine artery Doppler sonography, followed by ultrasonography biometry. Both the control and study groups saw a fall in the S/D ratio, PI, and RI values in the uterine artery from the second to the third trimester, however the study group's decline was slower and its values were greater than the control group's. Thus, the results of the current investigation indicate that an abnormal S/D ratio and RI were determined to be larger than 2.6 and 0.58, respectively. b) The absence of the diastolic notch in the third trimester is considered normal, but its persistence is considered problematic. For evaluating fetomaternal and uteroplacental circulations, doppler ultrasonography is a helpful noninvasive method. The outcomes of IUGR pregnancies might be predicted using the uterine artery measurements.
