Study about the Modern State in Comparative Inquiry | Chapter 01 | Research Developments in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 4

 Macro-oriented in Norway Stein Rokkan, a social scientist, has argued for the need of comparative historical research. What may comparative longitudinal state analyses offer us? In politics, the term "state" is crucial. When do states make their first appearance on the real stage? F. Fukuyama's The Origins of Political Order [1] aims, in my opinion, to undermine the prevailing viewpoint. In certain nations, the separation of state and religion has not been enforced. According to Fukuyama, the prophet Mohammed set the groundwork for an Arab state. He is, in my opinion, inaccurate.
