Evaluation of Clinical and Magnetic Resonance in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis Using Platelets and Stem Cells | Chapter 9 | Novel Research Aspects in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 6

 The aim of this chapter search out assess the influence of platelet-rich plasma therapy as well mesenchymal stem cells arisen autologous adipose fabric for the treatment of body part osteoarthritis based on clinical manifestation and magnetic reverberation imaging data. Total WOMAC score at right body part joint was decreased from 55.93±5.56 to 10.37±1.56; at abandoned knee joint was decreased from 53.97±5.57 to 10.07±1.59. There were 86.77% intersections with piece of animate skeleton thickness change and the patellar cartilage girth was increased from 1.56 ± 0.09 mm before situation to 1.65 ± 0.09 mm. Combining platelet-rich plasma therapy accompanying mesenchymal stem cells came from the patient's own adipose tissue to treat body part osteoarthritis is beneficial in threatening pain, enhancing patient mobility and on foot ability, and changeful the thickness of the articular cartilage on attractive resonance image.
