The aims of this study were (1) to list the common menstrual morbidities among adolescents, (2) to study the knowledge and stance toward menstruation among adolescent adolescents (3) to elicit their energy-seeking conduct regarding menstrual health, and (4) to study the practices of menstrual cleanliness among adolescent daughters. Menstruation is a phenomenon namely the cyclic shedding of endometrium and is ultimate important material change that occurs among adolescents during preadulthood. In India, the lack of safe clean facilities and a narrow approach to products of clean hygiene bring about an increase in adopting unhygienic practices in managing period. A cross-sectional study was administered in a tertiary care ward, located in Vijayawada, from June 2019 to April 2020 by interviewing 417 adolescent school girls utilizing a semi-organized questionnaire. The mean age and standard deviation of daughters included in the study were 14.7 age ± 2.69. 62.6 % of girls had the right idea about menstruation as a normal corporal process. Only 33.6 % of girls saw about menstruation before menarche. 32% of schoolgirls answered that they were scared when they achieved first menarche. 50.6 % of girls saw that infection would occur if they do messy their vagina commonly during period.78% of girls used clean pads during period. Dysmenorrhea,58% is the common menstrual morbidity. Only 11% of young women said that they had no limits during period. The girls interviewed, are of inadequate knowledge and markable good practices concerning menstrual health.
