This episode examined the challenges of Cochlear implants (CI) users in Jos, Nigeria. Cochlear implants (CIs) have convinced to be a useful situation option for things with severe-to-deep hearing loss by providing enhanced access to one's encircling auditory environment. CIs disagree from traditional audile amplification by providing information to the hearing system via energetic stimulation. Access to cochlear implants in underdeveloped countries is not without challenges. The study comprises 41 accused, 16 out of 30 Cochlear Implant consumers in Jos responded to the questionnaire. Thirteen (13) folks of the cochlear implant us- ers and twelfth (12) ENT personnel doctors and nurses formed the sample breadth. CICQ questionnaire was used to wrest data from the respondents. A plain percentage was used to analyze the dossier. The results revealed that 62.5% of the CI users lived beneath 100,000 Naira (USD244) as their yearly income. Cochlear Implant appurtenances such as batteries, extrinsic devices, cords, and services or repairs are very high-priced yet they don’t last long. We also should travel a long distance to access winding implant mapping that costs us a portion in terms of transport fares. The majority (93.75%) have harsh to profound hearing deficit bilaterally but used CI unilaterally. The cost of CI accessories and presidency, as well as their accessibility, have an affect the economic, public, and psychological lives of CI users and their classification members. The demand for CI in their facility is completely strong, and managing CI consumers is very difficult due to lacking people, capital, and equipment, according to ENT organization. We advised convenient approach to CIs, their reasonable accessories and aids, effective ENT staff preparation, and well-equipped healing facilities.
