Ion Induced Gelatinized Mucilage Based Microspheres: A Novel Mucoadhesive Carrier for Gastroretentive Drug Delivery | Chapter 9 | Novel Aspects on Pharmaceutical Research Vol. 9

The use of novel drug transfer systems for adept delivery of drug is recently surveyed area. Several novel drug childbirth systems have happened proved to be direct in delivery drug. Many of ruling class are currently accessible in for clinical use. The carrier interceded drug delivery include use of various drug tricky carriers like nanoparticles, microparticles, microspheres, microsponge, liposomes, ethosomes, transfersomes, phytosomes and glycerosomes. The microspheres are micron sized drug tricky spherical pieces. The use of natural gums and gluey substance for fabrication of drug loaded microspheres is currently explored extent for gastrorentive drug delivery. Thus, present book unit highlights use of these natural gluey substance based microspheres for lie of drug loaded microsphere.
