Condoms Breakage and Slip off: Risk Factors for HIV Infections Amongst Individuals Keeping Multiple Sexual Relationships in Tiv Land, North Central Nigeria | Chapter 3 | Recent Trends in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 8

 Despite the knowledge that proper and consistent habit of condoms by individuals custody multiple sexual friendships or who undertake casual sex would prevent the broadcast of HIV; gaps still endure in knowledge on the effective utilisation of condoms among partners consistency multiple relationships in Nigeria. This paper analyzes condoms breakage and remove during sexual intercourse among partners and HIV risk in Nigeria. A sample of 1,621 accused was collected using multi-stage and resolved to do something sampling methods. Structured and meticulous interviews were used for dossier collection. SPSS (version 21) was secondhand for quantitative dossier analysis. The incidences of condoms damage and slip off are extreme, and may constitute risk determinant for HIV infection. The decline in the rate of HIV infections through this source by utilising verified knowledge for programme interventions will impact absolutely on the sexual wellbeing of things and public health in Nigeria.
