A Review on Microemulsion: An Update | Chapter 5 | Novel Aspects on Pharmaceutical Research Vol. 9

Microemulsions are stable mixtures of both water and lubricate that have an interfacial coating caused by a surfactant and a co-surfactant that organizes hydrophilic-hydrophobic micelles. Due to their capacity to solubilize two together hydrophilic and lipophilic medicines, extended shelf life, simplicity of produce, and enhanced bioavailability, they have brought interest as pharmaceutical excipients. This study discusses the benefits, disadvantages, principles, arrangements, commercial lipid-based developments, formulation, aspect behaviors, techniques, writing, and pharmaceutical uses of microemulsions.
