Solar power is one of the energy alternatives to electricity that is a long-term, non-polluting, and unlimited source of energy. Solar heating, solar photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, and artificial photosynthesis are just a few of the ever-evolving technologies that are used to capture the sun's heat. The current study focused on a survey of the various varieties of solar cookers on the market, as well as an ex post facto study on "Reasons and Aspects for Purchase of Solar Water Heaters" to better understand the reasons and factors that consumers consider when purchasing a solar water heater. In Hyderabad, a total of 100 families (east zone-20, west zone-20, centre zone-20, north zone-20, and south zone-20) were chosen. Data was gathered using an interview schedule. Reasons for acquiring a solar water heater included saving money on conventional fuels (power/gas) (1st rank), having hot water available throughout the day (2nd rank), and eliminating the effort of carrying a hot water bucket from the kitchen to the bathroom (3rd rank). There was no significant relationship between age and consumer happiness, according to chi-square analysis. However, there was a substantial link between customer happiness and education, wealth, family type, and building type.
