A Case Report on Epithelioid Haemangioma of the Forehead | Chapter 7 | Highlights on Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 14

Epitheloid haemangioma is a soft tissue tumor that develops from the vascular endothelium. Epitheloid haemangioma is a rare type of vascular endothelial tumor. We present a 22-year-old patient with a swelling of the forehead region that resembles a sebaceous cyst clinically. It was an epitheloid heamangioma, as determined by histopathology. She was monitored for two years and no recurrences occurred during that time. Because the cutaneous manifestation of this condition is extremely rare, this case is being documented.
