Women Empowerment: A Concept Analysis | Chapter 2 | Highlights on Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 6

The ability to express oneself without denigrating others is defined as women's empowerment.

To fulfil societal demands, this entails a shared dialogue and negotiating framework. Empowerment is a multi-step process that leads to increased participation, decision-making power, influence, and transformative action through increasing understanding, building capacity, and increasing engagement, decision-making power, influence, and transformative action.

The goal of the concept paper was to give a thorough explanation of women's empowerment. Materials and Methods: To aid in the description of the concept of interest, Walker and Avant's concept analysis approach was employed. From August 1 to August 30, 2017, a literature search was conducted utilising women empowerment journals, PubMed, Medline, PMC, NCBI, and Reference Manager. There were also 40 research that were considered to be useful in defining and describing the notion of interest.

Before it was defined and presented in a theoretical context, women's empowerment was assumed to be a way of dominance.
