Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Practices of Top Hotel Chains Concerning SDGs and Sustainism | Chapter 10 | An Overview on Business, Management and Economics Research Vol. 3

 Corporate public responsibility (CSR) or allied sustainability and responsibility (CS&R) is a widely conferred topic in trade and economic composition. However, there is a lack of studies equating the top-tier inn chain’s sustainability practices with SDG-connected CSR and sustainism. The current study aims to develop a comprehensive list of SDG-connected CSR actions, CS&R conduct, and sustainism themes. Then, it compares the CS&R practices of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence first 14 selected lodging chains with SDG-accompanying CSR and sustainsim themes. First, utilizing Scopus and Google Scholar databases, SDG-related CSR, CS&R conduct, and sustainism-related conduct are identified. Second, utilizing qualitative content reasoning of sustainability reporting of the CS&R websites of 14 picked hotel chains is judged. Third, whether the current CS&R conduct outperform the SDG-connected CSR or sustainism actions or whether a break exists 'tween expectation and current acting is uncovered. As an effect, a three-layer monument is developed place the lower-level shows 14/14 selected TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence first hotel chains are in the absolute CS&R situations, the middle level shows 10/14 inn chains are SDG-related CSR term, and the peak of the pyramid shows 3-4/14 inn chains are in the sustainism era. Although most inn chains have implemented SDG-accompanying CSR, many top-tier lodgings should take urgent conduct to implement sustainism themes.
