The study aims were; (a) assess the extreme yielding assortment amongst the three cassava assortments (TMS 95/0289, TMS 96/0523 and TME 419). (b). evaluate the impact of the compound fertilizers (N-P-K- 20:10-10and N-P-K 15—15-15) on the development performance of the three cassava types in terms of tumor and yield. (c) determine the effect of interplay between the N.P.K. fertilizers and the three cassava verities. Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) is a enduring crop of the family Euphorbiaceae tame in Nigeria. It is a root crop namely propagated vegetatively from stem cutting for commercial purposes, but can more be propagated by source. Cassava is however, not customarily planted singular under the traditional cutting system so concerning maximize the farmer’s revenue generation and again to produce diverse crops on the restricted available land field. Thus, an experiment on the growth and yield reactions of cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) using two compound manure types was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm, Rivers State University Port Harcourt betwixt March 2021 and February 2022. Three cassava varieties (TME 419, TMS 95/0289, and TMS 96/0523), two types of compound manure (NPK 20-10-10 and NPK 15-15-15), and a control with no manure request were combined in the situations. The treatments were start as a split plot with the cassava differences going in the main plot and the manure types going in the subplots, in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) replicated three opportunities. Parameters evaluated were plant climax and leaf number at four weekly break starting at ten weeks following in position or time planting, too tuber number and vegetable weight. Results show that cassava difference TME 419 interacting accompanying NPK 15-1515 produced the best plant height (288.3cm) while TMS96/0523 outside fertilizer use produced rude plant height(199cm) at harvest. Significantly more leaves, tubers, and plant crest were created using NPK 15-15-15. Comparing the fertilized plots to the unfertilized plot (control), the fertilized plots caused considerably more new tubers and heavier tubers. Since the sort and compound fertilizer produce the maximum tuber number and vegetable weight, TMS 95/0289 and NPK 15-15-15 endure be suggested to ration farmers in consideration of boost cassava output.
