Social Demographic Determinants of National Health Insurance Uptake among the Informal Sector Workers, Vihiga County, Kenya | Chapter 6 | Research Aspects in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 7

 The study wanted to ascertain the impact of mathematical factors on the rude answer of National Health Insurance among informal area workers in Vihiga Sub-County.  The simple sector clerks in Vihiga Sub County were the study's target mathematical, and they were selected from the Sub County's four wards. A representative sample of 384 was got through the use of cluster sampling and plain random sampling techniques. Data was assembled through the use of semi-organized questionnaires, and descriptive enumerations were used for study. The findings demonstrated that the adoption of national medical insurance was highly equated with old people above the age of 50, wives, high levels of instruction, high profit, households headed by women, and precise employment. Additionally, the ratification of national medical insurance was significantly affected by age, gender, the feminine of the household head, level of education, employment rank, and household monthly wage. Enrollment in a health insurance blueprint should be heartened among the minority and male population to guarantee that they have access to recommended care, sustain quality care, and have better well-being outcomes.
