Management of Life-threatening Arterial Cannulation in the Subclavian Artery Using Percutaneous Placement of a Covered Stent | Chapter 4 | Research Developments in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 5

 Central venous catheterization can bring about the rare but life-threatening confusion of inadvertent subclavian artery cannulation. To prevent fatal outcomes, it is critical to promptly recognize and manage this issue using orders such as stent placement, thrombin needle, Angio-Seal, or gel foam embolization. In this case report, we describe a profitable percutaneous management of subclavian arterial cannulation by covered stent installation, which was performed outside any complexities.
