First Identification in Forensic Dentistry Endorsed by the American Justice | Chapter 3 | Research Aspects in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 8

 In 1849, Webster cancelled Parkman. The latter’s body had never existed found but his dental prostheses had. Webster was jailed and was prosecuted for the murder. The analysis of the dental prostheses completed activity by Parkman’s personal dental surgeon, positively identified the earlier prostheses and which instantly condemned Webster to passing. This was the first case of identification in judicial dentistry which was signed by American courts.
