Semiconductor Detectors for Dose Rate Measurement of Fission Products Mixture: A Recent Study | Chapter 10 | Recent Progress in Science and Technology Vol. 5

The military dosimetric ploy DP-86 probe's experimental verification and computations for energy and angular reliance are presented in this place chapter. This device was forged to measure the gamma radiation dose rate of basic weapons fall out, that resources the fission products combination. Similarly, a rough estimate of the testing emission can be created. The device's time-reliant sensitivity to nuclear weapon radioactivity was calculated established these findings. Two theories were secondhand for the energy dependence forethoughts: Tabata´s and Moliére´s theory. The experimental proof used the 60Co, 137Cs and six screening X-indications mean values. The results were used according Gusev group´s theory to the splitting product mixture of 235U.
