Determination of Decannulation Problems in Tracheostomized Quadriplegic Patients | Chapter 9 | Research Highlights in Disease and Health Research Vol. 3

 Tracheostomy decannulation is forever difficult in cases of frightening quadriplegia due to respiratory influence paralysis, box for storage infections, aspiration, and the need to take care of sacral sores. It is owned by identify and overcome the difficulties in decannulation of tracheostomy in cases of quadriplegia on account of cervical spinal rope injury.  A potential observational study was conducted in a after second care Spinal Cord Injury. Centre of a Military Hospital. Over a three-year ending, ten tracheostomized traumatic quadriplegics were evaluated.  Once the clue for tracheostomy was over, the decannulation was only considered when skilled was normal gag mechanical, effective cough, manageable hope,  oxygen saturation above 90%, no weighty pulmonary compromise and no need for bed sores  surgery. The cases were attended for another year subsequently decannulation. Only two cases could not be decannulated due to weak chest campaign, ineffective hacking, a lack of motivation, and occasional hope.Patients with cervical rope injuries have difficulty decannulating by way of weak respiring muscles, ineffective hacking, aspiration, pulmonary study of plants, and bed sores. Successful decannulation demands respiratory muscle exercise, restricted peak cough pressure, assisted hacking, a risk benefit strategy in aspiration, bed angry healing, and cooperation.
