Thelaziasis of the eye is a zoonotic illness. This condition is caused by a nematode of the species Thelazia, which affects the conjunctival glands, as well as the lacrimal ducts and glands. Thelazia Thelazia species are spread by Muscidae flies, which are a family of insects. A case report of ocular Thelaziasis in a 13-year-old female patient is presented here. Thelazia callipaeda was confirmed by microbiological investigation. To avoid recurrences, the worms were manually removed and the patient was put on anti-helminthic drugs.
