A Case Study on Pellet Gun Injury | Chapter 16 | Highlights on Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 13

 Pellet gun injuries can be severe and fatal, especially to delicate tissues and sensitive organs like the eyes. Pellet guns employed by law enforcement agencies have the potential to cause serious or life-threatening injuries since metallic bullets shot at high speeds from the pellet gun can harm the strongest structures in the body, such as the bone. The current case was observed among a succession of patients who were admitted to the hospital with pellet gun injuries of varying severity.
