Analysis of Tribological Researches of Gear Cutting Processes of Cylindrical Gears in Real and Model Conditions | Chapter 2 | Current Approaches in Science and Technology Research Vol. 7

The availability, adaptability, reliability, and productivity of modern industrial complexes, as well as maintenance costs, energy costs, and industrial production costs, are all affected by the intensity of wear of tribo-mechanical system elements. Gear cutting operations are typically a bottleneck in production, particularly in higher-level production. The presence of numerous parameters for monitoring the process development of their wear, as well as the selection of wear criteria, increases the complexity of the procedure for determining tribological properties of tribo-mechanical system elements from an economic standpoint.
