How to Guarantee the Save Term of Operation for the Mechanical Parts of Friction | Chapter 1 | Current Approaches in Science and Technology Research Vol. 7

Introduction: A large number of mechanical systems (mechanisms, devices, test benches, machines, vehicles, and so on) are designed with a large number of mobile pairs of friction. During the operation, these parts begin to deteriorate at varying rates. The permissible wear for each pair of friction is the main factor that appears as the limit term of normal operation. It is not good if each part's normal operation is interrupted at a different time/period of operation. Consequently, There is a significant problem associated with the manufacturing cycle in achieving a situation in which practically all pairs of friction have the same/identical technical resources. Obviously, the analogous situation occurs to the parts when we analyze their shock resistance, bending strength, and so on. If the rate of appearance of the destructions varies greatly across many parts, there is no way to put/appoint a unified term of the limit operation for the mechanical system to have the highest reliability. This article contains one method as well as recommendations and examples of how to overcome this negative situation in practice.
