Incidence and Outcomes of Covid-19 Disease among Transplant Recipients and Operation Theatre Stuffs in Bangladesh | Chapter 1 | Current Progress in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 8

 This member aims to find out the incidence and effects of COVID-19 disease with transplant recipients and movement theatre stuffs accompanying short term outcomes of graft function by achieving a modified action. The emergence of severe severe respiratory disease coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2; previously provisionally chosen 2019 novel coronavirus or 2019-nCoV) disease (COVID-19) in China at the end of 2019 has produced a large all-encompassing outbreak and is a major community health issue.We retrospectively analyzed the dossier of 300 transplant recipients the one underwent renal transplantation all along this pandemic along with total 18 appendages of operation troupe staffs. Patients who were asymptomatic and biochemically and radiologically negative for COVID-19 disease were preferred for surgery. Prior to surgery, no subjects or operating room group performed RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase vicious circle) for COVID-19 tests.  Any member of the surgical crew or transplanted patient who acquired COVID-19 affliction signs was assessed by a authority and treated accordingly. The occurrence of COVID-19 among inmates and operating room personnel, in addition to their outcomes and early graft function outcomes, were recorded.In this study, we have emphasized pre-functioning screening for selection of victims and tried deterrent strategies to prevent COVID-19 broadcast. RT-PCR test COVID-19 was not performed in one the patient or health care personnel. Since the establishment of novel coronavirus, the role of asymptomatic shippers in spreading the disease has waited a topic of discourse. Out of 300 recipients, none grown symptoms of COVID-19 during clinic stay before discharge. There were total of 7 (2.33%) deaths on account of COVID-19 and other complications.Although receivers had a substantially lower occurrence of COVID-19 infection than the general public, they also have a considerably greater mortality rate. This study aims to raise the issue of either a more flexible but feasible approach should be used in consideration of the rigid surgical approvals of Covid-19 during kidney transplantation.
