A Thin and Efficient Invisibility Cloak Designed by Using Genetic Algorithm from Layers of Ordinary Dielectric Materials | Chapter 11 | Fundamental Research and Application of Physical Science Vol. 9

The objective concerning this work is to evolve a thin and efficient transmission cloak for concealing objects larger than the wavelengths of occurrence radiation by using multi-tier coating calm of ordinary dielectrics, instead of meta- and plasmonic fabrics. The genetic treasure-based optimization process is used to decide the parameters of the cloak coatings, and the fitness function is the alternate of the total scattering cross-width of the disguised target, that is obtained from the solution of the Helmholtz equating. The proposed cloak explains better cloaking efficiency than does a similarly judge metamaterial cloak designed by utilizing the transformation optics connections.
