Positional Isomerism in N-propyl and Isopropyl Alcohol Using Ultrasonic Characterization | Chapter 9 | New Frontiers in Physical Science Research Vol. 9

In the work, ultrasonic parameters like speed and attenuation are calculated in mixtures of n-propyl and isopropyl alcohols in nitrobenzene at a 10 MHz pulse-echo method. Ultrasonic attenuation is sensitive to the synthetic composition of the combination.Ultrasonic velocity and attenuation calculations using the pulse_echo method operated at 10 MHz have existed taken at various concentrations of two together alcohols in nitrobenzene, from 283.15K - 293.15K. The data is analysed based on the verdicts, which revealed that both systems exhibit fault-finding nature and non-linear alternative in ultrasonic diffusion velocity and attenuation. In comparison to isopropyl intoxicating in nitrobenzene, ultrasonic attenuation at lower concentrations of n-propyl intoxicating in nitrobenzene reveals the dominant fundamental relaxation. Mixing of mixed and non-associated liquids leads to dipole-inferred interactions.
