Metamaterials (MM) accompanying their exotic properties that are not noticed in naturally existing matters are of much interest in many fields including medical analyst and non-invasive imaging and experiment of industrial components. Advances to a degree super and hyper glasses, extraordinary transmission, cloaking and assimilation, have been experimentally illustrated with metamaterials. These can be discussed as effective media, place their extraordinary properties believe the periodic geometrical and topographic facial characteristics. This chapter explains the Optical (Electromagnetic) and the Acoustic Metamaterials secondhand for subwavelength imaging.
