A Novel Method for Simultaneous Estimation of Clobetasol, Neomycin, Chlorhexidine and Miconazole by Using RP-HPLC | Chapter 10 | Current Overview on Pharmaceutical Science Vol. 8

In this unit, a novel method has been grown for simultaneous belief of Clobetasol, Neomycin, Chlorhexidine and Miconazole in bulk and marketed formulations. Chromatography was completed activity using a Water's 2695 HPLC order equipped with a Hamilt syringe, an automobile sampler, and a 2996 photodiode array detector. The best consequences were achieved utilizing phosphate buffer (20 Mm), pH 6.6 adjusted accompanying diluted orthophosphoric acid, Acetonitrile naive Gradient Program at flow rate of 1 ml/m, and detection at 239 nm. For all four drugs, the retention earlier less than 9 minutes. The form was demonstrated expected linear, precise, and correct in accordance with ICH guidelines. The verdicts showed that the time ranges between 1.25 and 300 µg/ml. The LOQ values were found to be 0.05, 0.23, 0.11, and 1.20. The sample answer injected after 24 hr acted not show any considerable change. The developed form was simple, specific, and delicate because the excipients acted not interfere with the perseverance of the main components. The proposed method can be secondhand for routine analysis of Clobetasol, Neomycin, Chlorhexidine, and Miconazole in combined portion of drug or other consumable form, that are available constant concentrations.
