Metal Telluride Thin Films: Advances in Research and Development| Chapter 9 | Research Aspects in Chemical and Materials Sciences Vol. 4

 Metal telluride thin films have intrigued great attention on account of unique properties to a degree high absorption cooperative, direct band gap value and good transparence in the visible region. These films maybe employed in solar containers, radiation detectors, electro-optic modulators, color of blood detector, ocular windows and opto-electronic tools. In this work, preparation and characterization of mineral telluride films were reported based on the picked literature review. X-ray diffraction method, atomic force microscopy and scanning power microscopy method could be used to decide the structure and morphology of the acquired films, respectively. The band gap and ocular properties were measured utilizing UV-visible spectrophotometry. The obtained band break suitable to cope with the maximum of cosmic spectrum.
