Finite Element Analysis and Mechanical Property Evaluation of CFRP and Al Honeycomb Sandwich Composite| Chapter 1 | Techniques and Innovation in Engineering Research Vol. 4

Composite composite sandwich material is one of the very main inventions engaged of Composites. Its layerd construction (face sheet, gist and adhesive) and stressed skin model form it most versatile for Aerospace, automobile, sea and other activities. Sandwich Composites with core as Honeycomb makeups could be natural or artificial structures accompanying high strength to pressure ratio. Generally, honeycomb is secondhand with face sheets that help in compression load distribution over the covering area. In this chapter we are equating the mechanical properties for face covering made up of CFRP and Al 3003, custody core as Al honeycomb in consideration of arrive at optimal association of composites to provide best flexural substance, lesser strain and more resistance to tabular structure, while subjecting the specimen grinder composite to three most common form of structural stowing . ANSYS software has existed used to perform Finite Element analysis on account of its versatility, diversified solver technology and vital Mesh adaption. The obtained results have happened discussed and conclusion are give alongwith future scope of work.
