Radical Urban Development in the Egyptian Desert: Sustainability Management and Economic Challenges| Chapter 3 | Current Advances in Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences Vol. 8

 This paper argues the development of Gardens’ City in the Egyptian westward desert with focus on allure' central and technical zones as a solution for growth needs and to overcome the coming challenges. Urban development has unfortunately experienced to environmental shame in most underdeveloped countries. Egypt, which is historically significant as a center of the potency and biological variety, provides a beneficial case study because it displays many of the determinants that illustrate the pressures between city development and environmental policy timetables. Due to rapid machine control and urban happening, Egypt continues to aggressively loss allure habitat and biodiversity from1950 to the which unavoidably leads to environmental problems and tiredness of natural resources. Gardens’ City is a new city in recently discovered region in the Egyptian western desert, that is rich to be developed. It display or take public new Farafra Oasis. The site has various potential aspects for tenable development; it has agricultural and technical economic bases. The principal street's area is planned to be about 5% of the city's area. The field of the industrial zone is about 22% of city extent. This paper refers to the development of the city accompanying a focus on the central and the technical zones. The city center has the main managerial and monetary services. The industrial zone contains both modern districts and main industrial education, preparation, and managerial duties. Renewable energy will be created in a sort of ways. This city will be the first in a succession of tumor opportunities in Egypt.
