Revolution in Dentistry with the Evolution of Nanotechnology| Chapter 5 | Current Innovations in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 9

Nanomedicine is the term for the use of nanotechnology in cure. Nanotechnology is the manipulation of matter at the nanoscale scale. The most outstanding contribution of nanotechnology to dentistry is the use of nanocomposites to fix tooth structure. In conditions of smoothness, polishability, accuracy of shade characterisation, flexural strength, and data processing machine hardness, these matters can provide advantages in agreements of aesthetics and substance compared to usual microfilled and hybrid sticky substance-based composite plans. Working on such a tiny scale gives us the talent to imagine the rehabilitation of a tooth at a level namely closer to the distinguishing anatomical pieces. Dental restoration system designs that approximately resemble the form by which dentistry paint is formed are immediately being explored in laboratory dental research.
