Electrophoresis is a successful analytical method for separation, but it is also extremely sensitive to minor differences in molecular charge and analyte size. This paper focuses on a quick overview of electrophoresis types, including capillary electrophoresis and CE-based separation modes, as well as their benefits and drawbacks, as well as their applications. This publication also provides several capillary electrophoresis-based miscellaneous electrophoretic methods [CE- ICP-MS, CE-NMR].
