Study on Irrigation of Spinach Plant with Reversed “Osmosis” Desalinated Sea Water| Chapter 14 | Advanced Aspects of Engineering Research Vol. 12

A method for reclaiming used saltwater The leftover water is desalinated using the reverse osmosis process after treating magnesium metal with citric acid to produce hydrogen gas and precipitating magnesium as magnesium gluconate. Magnesium gluconate was manufactured as a medicine under normal conditions and is water soluble. A wound that is spiralled In the prototype device, a commercial reverse-osmosis membrane module was used. In rural locations with no alternative source of water, different concentrations of remediated saltwater were blended to provide the required water salinities for spinach irrigation. When compared to 150 and 200 ml, irrigation results revealed that 1000 ppm, 650 ppm, and 350 ppm almost supplied the best treatments with fresh, dry, weight, and NPK.
