Studies on Closed Irreversible Cycles Analysis Based on Finite Physical Dimensions Thermodynamics | Chapter 5 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 4

The paper introduces generalizing entropic approaches to irreversible closed cycles. The mathematical models could be applied to four different types of irreversible trigeneration cycles. The models include the reference entropy, the number of internal irreversibilities, the thermal conductance inventory, the proper temperatures of external heat reservoirs, the mean log temperature differences, and four different design operational constraints. The entropy variation rate is always the reference entropy. during the reversible heat input of the working fluid The ratio of overall internal irreversible entropy generation to the reference entropy allows the reversible heat output to be calculated using the number of internal irreversibility. The designing operational constraints allow the reference entropy function of the convenient finite physical dimensions parameters to be replaced. The paper begins by presenting the number of internal irreversibilities as well as energy efficiency equations for engine and refrigeration cycles.
