A scarcity of organs Transforming death into life, as organ transplants
represent, necessitates the death of someone, a technological marvel of our
day, but also a social issue. Prejudices or ignorance prevent us from giving
another human being life. Patients awaiting transplantation are “unfairly”
dying every day as a result of this conflicted circumstance. States and Social
Security should work together. be a part of the solution to this problem It
will be critical to programme effective education in order to modify social
attitudes on organ donation. Several studies also highlight the continued lack
of transplantation training among university medical teams. The failure of
societal communication on organ donation and transplantation leads to organ
shortages and patient mortality on waiting lists. Propositions to In the
current organ scarcity problem, reviewing social and university education may
be an ethical duty for state health and education officials. Solidarity is a
wonderful human emotion, but when a loved one dies, it does not appear to be a
sufficient cause to provide permission to donate. Organ donation is seen as a
bizarre and unjustified act of mutilation by many individuals. In light of the
negative reactions that can arise when the option of deciding on organ donation
for a loved one is mentioned, we have advised that the following themes be
included in social education plans:
