'Is We Carnival Culture; is We Caribbean Thing; is We Life!': Demystifying Gendered Relations and the Taboo of Sex and HIV and AIDS among West Indian Women | Chapter 7 | Recent Trends in Arts and Social Studies Vol. 3

 This study covers the detracting and interconnected functions of several socio-educational issues in the Caribbean: Patriarchy, sex commercialisation, fathers having sexuality with brothers, violence, and conscientious practices - all providing to HIV and AIDS risk. By doing so, the item promotes knowledge of the harsh realisms of Caribbean women's intercourse lives and how Caribbean breeding disproportionately exposes ruling class to HIV and AIDS risk. The report concludes accompanying a need for more research into the crucial socio-enlightening factors that unfavorably influence male-female relationships and their effect on HIV and AIDS risk in the Caribbean.
