Case Report to Analysethe Efficacy of Jalaukavcharana (Leech Therapy) in Management of Madhumehaj Vrana (Diabetic Foot Ulcer) | Chapter 4 | Research Highlights in Disease and Health Research Vol. 9

 The present record of what happened highlights the effect of Jalokavcharana in Diabetic Foot Ulcer (Madhumehaj Vrana). Diabetic Foot Ulcer is the bigger complication of Diabetes Mellitus. It is a syndrome including Neuropathy, Ischemia, infection, weak wound healing due to raised Blood Sugar Level, minor trauma, cutaneous inflammatory condition, gangrene. 85% of diabetic bottom ulcer leads to Amputation, resulting in restriction. There is a need of accessible inexpensive and fast technique for management of Madhumehaj Vrana. Raktamokshana throug Chronic Madhumehaj Vrana h Jalauka is specific a powerful Para surgical Procedure that can be the boon to humankind. Acharya Sushruta made it very clear that one who is Parama Sukumara can act Jalaukavcharana with ease. This procedure eliminates deeply ingrained vitiated doshas and embellishes blood circulation, that speeds up the healing of ulcers. Jalauka revealed its Vrana Shodhana and Ropana belongings by removing the vitiated doshas from the affected domain and increased curative by improving the blood distribution and decreasing redness of the planter region of the nadir.
