The study secondhand quarterly opportunity series data from the World Bank's World Development Indicators (2022) and the African Development Bank for African Infrastructure Development Index (AIDI) dossier to examine the impact of foundation development on economic progress in Uganda for the period betwixt 2005 and 2020. The findings from the study pointed out a positive relationship betwixt AIDI and Economic growth in Uganda. Overall bettering in AIDI considering the four foundation components creates an permissive environment for added factors of production to work effectively and capably hence prompting economic growth in the country.The results plan that in order for Uganda to completely benefit from its foundation investment in the short and long terms, expenditures in infrastructure concede possibility take into account all four infrastructure elements that make up the AIDI, that is to say transportation, power, information and communications science, and water and sanitation.
