Novel Approach for Poor Ovarian Reserve with Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy| Chapter 11 | New Advances in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 7

The present study was attended to observe the influence of platelet rich plasma infusion through calculation of AMH and AFC values and gestation outcomes. Though ovarian becoming older is a normal process but the term Poor ovarian reserve (POR) implies when the condition and quantity of the follicular pool decreases in mothers with generative age groups. Sometimes the condition becomes an obstacle for gestation and compromising pregnancy.  It may be seen in state-of-the-art years of generative life or without some reason or may happen in young women accompanying different etiological factors. Women accompanying poor ovarian reserve concede possibility be evaluated correctly and individualising their therapeutic strategies for optimizing the fame rate. Majority of women accompanying POR need to undergo artificial fertilization to achieve gestation. Sometimes ovum gift and embryo gift are not acceptable to some couples for disturb-social reason or conscientious reason. To improve the position many treatment approaches have been intentional. Among them individual of the novel approaches is Autologous platelet rich plasma healing. This prospective observational study was exhausted the department of generative endocrinology and infertility from July 2019 to June 2022. A total of 60 inmates with weak ovarian reserve were recruited maintaining addition and exclusion tests. At first cycle, distinguished to baseline counts, mean±SD AMH had increased by 0.04±0.15 ng/dl, and mean±SD AFC had raised by 1.34±1.89 in number. During second cycle post-PRP, the mean distinctness of AMH and AFC was 0.18±0.21 ng/dl and 2.17±1.71 in a positive tone. By final follow-up, gestation rate was 20% among cases. Ovarian PRP infusion had a  gestation success rate of 23.33%, which was comparable to other prior studies with identical short follow-up history. 18,21-23 PRP had existed proven expected an effective means for ovarian rejuvenation in terms of AMH and AFC in the study.Following PRP infusion, the study proverb a considerable bettering in AMH and AFC values. Both results gradually enhanced; an increase in AMH values was visualized up to the second post-PRP period, while an increase in AFC was shown until the third cycle post-PRP. Twelve (12) of the 60 subjects (20%) were pregnant. PRP ovarian situation resulted in revised oocyte and embryo quality in nearly three-fourths of patients and use of this medicine would therefore likely increase the success rate of IVF eras in poor responders.
