Hierarchical Text Summarization Using Semantic Similarity | Chapter 1 | Research Highlights in Language, Literature and Education Vol. 6

Due to the impact of the WWW in the current era, massive volumes of dossier have emerged. This create the user give more time accumulation information namely scattered across many documents. Summarizing the documents and providing a compacted version of it reduces the education time for the consumers. Text summarization is the practice of abridging larger document documents into an organized summary of informative sentences. The term "embedding" refers to the likeness of each sentence in the text as a heading of real principles. Values of particular attributes are examined and planned in n-dimensional scope when embedding a document. Semantically comparable sentences are located tighter to one another. By shrewd the distance between the headings, unsupervised account in speech combines corresponding sentences and determines in any case they should be affiliated with the summary. With the input content data, Hierarchical Summarization generates a tree-construction, with the shrub's length being contingent upon the number of clusters.  Three different hierarchic clustering models are used to act the clustering. Sentences accompanying a comparable pertaining to syntax content are collected in each cluster. A fixed number of sentences were extracted each cluster by locating allure closest neighbor, and these phrases were before added to a summary that holds not completely half the size of the original document(s). Performance signs are used to assess the influence of hierarchical recaping on the CNN/Daily Mail dataset. The evaluation score finds that, accompanying an F1 score of 0.75, the BIRCH algorithm acts better than the other grouping algorithms.
