Research Developments and Review on Routing Methods for Energy in Mobile Networks | Chapter 4 | Current Overview on Science and Technology Research Vol. 6

A MANET is a category of mobile nodes that form networks independently without the aid of centralized management. Since such devices are battery-powered, extending battery life has become an important goal. We need to develop a performance-conscious and efficient protocol for MANET. Similarly, all nodes in a mobile ad-hoc network perform the task of routing setup networks between different mobile nodes. The "death" of some nodes due to exhaustion of performance values can end the disconnection of systems within the MANET. When a node moves out of radio range of another node, the connection between nodes is broken and another node is disconnected. This chapter describes different methods of routes and the different methods used for route selection in Manet applications.
