Squamous Papilloma of Urinary Bladder in a Chronic Smoker| Chapter 8 | Current Innovations in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 5

Scaled cell papilloma lesions of the urinary bladder are veritably rare. We describe a case of 56- time-old manly case with benign scaled cell papilloma. Histologically, the lesion showed papillary processes with central fibrovascular cores which were lined by hyperplastic benign scaled epithelium. No nuclear atypia or koilocytic dysplasia or stromal irruptions were seen and the opinion of Scaled papilloma was established. These lesions are extremely rare, and indeed though they're considered benign, andnon-HPV related, the case should be on surveillance for the rush of low- grade urothelial melanoma.
