Bhendi is cultivated for domestic consumption or for original trade in Tirunelveli quarter of Tamil Nadu. utmost growers. are growing Bhendi on a bitsy scale and veritably many growers. on a big scale. The study was riveted on profitable analysis of Bhendi civilization in Tirunelveli quarter of Tamil Nadu. Amulti-stage arbitrary slice fashion was followed for opting the major Bhendi growing blocks in Tirunelveli quarter viz Sankarankovil and Vasudevanallur. Six townlets from each block were named aimlessly and ten growers. from each vill were named therefore making a total sample size of 120 repliers. The cost of civilization in case of large granges was advanced(Rs.) as compared to medium(Rs.) and small(Rs.) granges. The cost of civilization per hectare showed a rising trend with the rise in the ranch size. It could be due to the fact that the large growers. incurred more expenditure on ultramodern ranch inputs. On an average the value of net income and family labour income per hectare came toRs. and independently on the sample granges of different sizes. The average input- affair rate in Bhendi was worked out to be11.60 on the sample granges. The per hectare Cost A1, Cost A2, Cost B1, Cost B2, Cost C1, Cost C2 and Cost C3 at the overall position wereRs.,,,,, and independently.
